Michael Blum is a producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. Blum’s productions have gained airplay on domestic and international radio (including NPR, BBC Radio and CBC Radio), and have been featured in film and television across Netflix (including “The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again”), MTV (“Teen Mom 2”), and more. Michael’s productions have also been featured and reviewed in tastemaker press including Billboard, American Songwriter and Hollywood Life. In July 2020, Blum and collaborator Jenna Lotti were named the inaugural recipients of the ASCAP Foundation’s Peggy Lee Songwriter Award for their song “Fake ID.” As an artist, Blum has featured at showcases throughout LA including Echo Park Rising and Mainstage at Melrose Trading Post, and has performed in concerts presented by Sonic Bids and World of Wonder.
